DCC OCTOBER SECOND MILE FUNDS GO TO SUPPORT DEEP GRIHA: Deep Griha is an NGO (Non-Government Organization) in Pune India supported by DCC-UCC and other UCC churches in the Columbus area. Their services to the community of Pune are highlighted in the DG Quarterly Insert found in this newsletter. This month’s second mile funds will be dedicated to the memory of Sandy Wood, a former member of First Community Church United Church of Christ and founding member of Deep Griha USA. These funds will be 100% directed to India and used to support the needs of Deep Griha India. Sandy was a good and loving friend of Deep Griha over the years and will be missed by the DGUSA community. His Legacy to Deep Griha will be continued through the Wood family, the DGUSA board of trustees and the loving generosity of all of us that support Deep Griha.
